Surviving Colon Cancer: Lisa's Story
Lisa was 39 when University Gastroenterology Dr. Paul Akerman diagnosed her with colon cancer. She didn't know being African American and her family history put her more at risk for the disease. Now, she works to raise awareness about the disease and how it disproportionately affects the Black community.
