Battery Upgrade: Battle Born Lithium

Swapping out lead acid "golf cart" batteries for LiFePO3 (lithium) batteries from Battle Born. Our old, maintenance intense flooded lead acid batteries are replaced with brand new lithium batteries from Battle Born for a major upgrade in capacity. We essentially double our usable amp-hours of battery capacity in the same space and with only 1/3 the weight.

When you want to spend the most time off grid with the least problems, the battery system is one of the main things to consider, and we have greatly improved our ability to do that.

The only real problem was needing to upgrade our Magnum inverter/charger system to match the new battery requirements. It was an unforseen technical issue but not due to the batteries, just an older inverter/charger that needed to be upgraded.
