Monster Texan Migas Breakfast Challenge!!

A&Z #832 - Atlas vs J&J's 7lb Monster Texan Migas Breakfast Challenge at J&J BBQ & Burgers in Cedar Park, Texas which is near Austin, Texas. We decided to kick off my 2020 food challenges on my 34th birthday which was June 24, 2020. I attempted 10 restaurant eating challenges around central Texas, mostly between the DFW area and Austin, Texas. For event #3, I traveled to Cedar Park, Texas where I attempted the 7lb Monster Texan Migas Breakfast Challenge hosted by J&J BBQ & Burgers. A few of my friends have completed this challenge, so I wanted to join them up on the long-standing Wall of Fame. This was my first time trying migas and it was so delicious!! Migas is a dish in Spanish and Portuguese cuisines, and it has also been adapted as Mexican and Tex-Mex too. I had 1 hour to finish over 4lbs of J&J's breakfast migas containing fried corn tortilla strip pieces, pico de gallo, and eggs, all covered with melted cheese. All that came with 6 flour tortillas and 1lb sides of refried beans and J&J's home fries. I was trying to win my meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and a spot on the Wall of Fame. HUGE thanks to the J&J BBQ & Burgers ownership and staff for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! BIG thanks also to everybody who came up to watch and meet me, and thanks to everyone around the Cedar Park and Austin, Texas area for watching videos and supporting our efforts!! J&J's Monster Migas Texan Breakfast Challenge in Cedar Park, Texas ($19.99):

- J&J BBQ & Burgers serves up delicious barbecue, burgers, and breakfast items all day!!
- The challenge features over 4lbs of their breakfast "Migas" which is a Texan "Tex-Mex" dish.
- There are fried corn tortilla strip pieces mixed with pico de gallo and eggs, covered with cheese.
- That all comes with 6 flour tortillas plus 1lb sides of their home fries and some refried beans.
- There is a 1 hour time limit to finish the entire 7lb breakfast migas meal.
- Winners get the $19.99 meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and Wall of Fame!!

The restaurant is BYOB (bring your own beer) so a long-time subscriber named Sean bought me some Native Texan Pilsner to drink with my breakfast. It was delicious and I had more a few days later.
