Jaleesa is following her dream to become a qualified teacher by studying a Bachelor of Education (Teaching) through the University of Auckland programme at Manukau Institute of Technology’s Otara Campus. The University of Auckland at Manukau programme has been running in South Auckland since 1999 and has graduated over 550 qualified teachers. Many of these teachers are still giving back to young learners and communities in South Auckland, New Zealand and beyond.
