The Chase to the Gumball 3000 Finish Line in Tokyo!

We've done it, the finish line of the 2018 Gumball 3000 from London to Tokyo! Kicking off the final leg in Nanao, it's heading across Japan to the capital and a crazy world of cars awaiting. With a long drive ahead of us, a late start means that most of the way it's a game of catch-up to get there before too late.

For the third driving day in Japan, after having gone from Osaka to Kyoto and then to Nanao, the final leg is to the ultimate destination of Tokyo. Leaving towards the back of the pack the aim is to keep the pace up to catch up with the grid and then have a quick turnaround at the shrine which makes for our lunch checkpoint.

For the afternoon, the route seems to be a mixture of horrendous traffic, with excessive police checks along the way. However, that doesn't stop the fun as we make it to Daikoku Futo - where things didn't go as planned, but far better!

Finally it's on to the Gumball hotel in Tokyo for a final sign-of; with no real grid per say but the position to bring a close to this massive adventure.
