Hello and thank you for joining me.

Im really excited to be sharing my first layout as a member of the Scrap The Boys Design Team!

Our July challenge goes live today, and the challenge is to be inspired by a moodboard, and to use either a cutfile or cutting dies on our layouts.

I’ve opted to use some metal cutting does - my favourite hexagon nesting dies.

I’ve used @Vicki Boutin Color Study collection and I’ve selected 5 patterned papers to cut my hexagons from. I’ve cut 3 hexagons from each paper, in 4 different sizes.

I’ve added some mixed media to my background using @Tim Holtz Distress Inks. I’ve used Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmelade, Crushed Olive, Mowed Lawn, Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon, Picked Raspberry and Dusty Concord. I’ve also used a black acrylic paint to add a bit of drama to the page.
