CranioSomatic Tips for Over-Use Disorders: prevention and Treatment with Flo Barber-Hancock

Flo Barber-Hancock of Hancock CranioSomatic Institute http://www.hancockclinic.com/index.html is at the Oakworks facility discussing functional patterns that are sometimes overlooked in repetitive motion injuries. She is demonstrating how she evaluates pain arising from over-use, and provides tips on identifying hidden factors. She also demonstrates the myofascial Facilitated Pathways therapy that she developed for long-term resolution of chronic neuromusuloskeletal pain. Please watch Flo's other video in this CranioSomatic Series. http://www.massagetables.com/
Florence 'Flo' Barber-Hancock specializes in pain relief, joint mobilization, and pediatric problems. Beginning new work in the late 1990s, Flo has developed a unique cranial therapy -- Facilitated Pathways Intervention® (FPI). The FPI therapy uses small, gentle massage-type techniques performed on the head, face and neck. The treatment area is always related to a specific pain or dysfunction in the muscles or joints of the body. FPI is the focus of her clinical practice and the topic of her Ph.D. dissertation.
Flo has been an LMT in private practice since 1997. She has taught her FPI therapy and other cranial techniques in a number of states and several foreign countries over the last 12 years.
