How to brew POUR OVER Coffee | Outdoor Coffee | Camping at Teratak Tok Alang

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Outdoor Dripper
- Filter Paper
- Grinder
- Gooseneck Kettle
- 25g Coffee ( Treebud Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Koke G1 )
- 400ml Water (about 90-92 degree celcius)
- Mug

RATIO:
- 25g Coffee to 400g Water (1:16)

GRIND
- Medium ground (Comandante: 25 clicks)

TOTAL BREW TIME:
2:00 Pour, 0:30-1:00 Drawdown
STEP 1: Prep and Preheat
Weight 25g of coffee and grind on a medium setting. Then, set up the V60, filter, and vessel on the scale and heat 400g of water in the kettle to 90 degrees Celcius.

STEP 2: Wet Filter
Gently pour hot water into the center of the empty filter. Continue pouring in a spiral outwards to rinse the entire filter.

STEP 3: Add Ground Coffee
Add the ground coffee to the V60, ensuring that you add 25g of coffee

STEP 4: Bloom
Start the timer and add 50g of water to the bed of coffee quickly, in about 5 seconds. Let the coffee bloom for an additional 45 seconds.

STEP 5: Second Pour
Gentle flow start pouring in the center and spiral out in concentric circles taking care not to pour down the filter itself. Continue pouring gently in concentric circles spiraling back in towards the center until the scale reads 400g. This should take about 1:30 seconds.

STEP 6: Drawdown
Stare in amazement at your freshly brewed coffee. The drawdown should finish between 2:30-3:00. Happy brewing! ;)
