Eruption of Klyuchevskoy (Ключевской) in Kamchatka

The eruption of Klyuchevskoy volcano in Kamchatka during 16th and 20th October 2013.
Together with Richard and Martin, I met with our friend Alexej. He drove us in his 4-wheel-drive-bus to the volcanoes of Kamchatka. Our first stop was at Klyuchevskoy volcano, which was active since several weeks. 20 km from the volcano, we settled in a mountain hut. Klyuchevskoy could be seen from here and impressed us with its 1000 m high lava fountains.

Background:
Klyuchevskoy (also spelled Kliuchevskoi, or Klyuchevskaya Sopka, Ключевской) is a 4835-m-high basaltic stratovolcano and Kamchatka's highest and most active volcano. Since its origin about 6000 years ago, Klyuchevskoy has produced frequent moderate-volume explosive and effusive eruptions without major periods of inactivity.
