MTV shows like this featured real people but also had writers to tell them what to do and say to make it more interesting. Matt is Matt Wilpers, today a Peloton instructor. - UPDATE: Ben (real name: Benjamin Eli Gilbert) later did porn under the name Caleb Carter (google: Caleb Carter porn), and suffered from bipolar disorder and alcoholism.
