Great Minds event: the outlook for new dementia treatments
DPUK's Great Minds initiative is delighted to present another live event for members of the public who are interested in dementia research.
We brought together leading figures in dementia diagnosis and treatment in Bristol on 9 June 2022 to offer a rare, expert-led insight into the latest developments in the field.
Topics include recent advances in our understanding of Alzheimer's disease, emerging treatment options, and how researchers are using health data to generate valuable new insights into the causes of and risk factors for dementia. There is also a panel Q&A after the talks.
Running order:
4.51: Introduction to DPUK and the power of volunteers (Prof John Gallacher)
21.25: Sleep and dementia (Dr Liz Coulthard)
20.30: Developments in Alzheimer's disease research (Dr Ivan Koychev)
