USDA-ARS Residue Management Wheel for No-Till Drills and Planters

USDA-ARS residue management wheel – slow motion video. Patented device pins crop residue to the soil surface, preventing it from building up on furrow openers. Use of the device increased stand establishment by 40% and 17% in brassica and cereal crops respectively in research studies. Trends for yield increases were also found.
