Drowning Man Saved by Young Men in Kyoto River

What started out as an attempt to retrieve a purse that dropped into the Kamo River in the Gion district, quickly turned into a matter of life and death when the elderly man reached deeper water. Three young gentlemen were quick to react racing into the river and bringing the man to shore. Others on the banks swiftly tracked down a ladder which was used on the banks to help those involved return to safety.
