Dish Soap Dispenser Tank Hack, fill dispensers less often and make it so much easier!

Tired of refilling the dish soap dispenser?
Has the small soap container become damaged or broken?
Has the conventional soap dispenser left you with a mess under the sink?
Are you just looking for a simple solution to dispense dish soap or hand soap through a sink pump dispenser?

Here is a quick easy way to fix the problem of having to refill your dish soap dispenser too often and now you will be able to see, at a glance, how much soap is left!

What you will need:
~ 32" (or a length customized to your specific situation) of plastic/rubber tubing/hose 1/4" ID (Inside Diameter). It could be called tubing or hose and be either plastic or rubber.
~ Sharp knife or tubing cutter
~ Drill and 25/64" drill bit
~ A one-way oil pump check valve 1/4" inlet and 1/4" outlet. I used this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NTPX37H/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

What you will do:
1) Unscrew the soap holding bottle. (Discard... shouldn't ever need that again! ;-)
2) Cut 9" to 14" (or an amount that works in your situation) to go from the bottom of the soap dispenser pump tube to the top of your soap bottle, of the rubber hose 1/4" ID.
3) Slide the 1/4" ID hose onto the pump tube that went into the discarded soap bottle. Make sure that you slide the 1/4" ID rubber hose onto the pump tube at least 1/2" inch. (You can make it easier by putting a little soap on the straight pump tube and then the rubber hose should slide right over the straight pump tube.)
4) On the bottom of this rubber hose, slide the one-way oil pump check valve into it. (Look at the direction arrow on the one-way oil pump check valve and make sure that it is pointing up. We want the soap to go up with each pump and this check valve will keep the soap from seeping back down into the container.)
5) Slip the next piece of 1/4" ID rubber hose onto the bottom of the one-way oil pump check valve.
6) Measure the remaining 1/4" ID rubber hose so that it is the proper length to go to the bottom of your soap container and cut it.
7) Drill a 25/64" hole in the cap of the dish soap container and slide the 1/4" ID rubber hose into the soap container. (You could just take the cap off of the soap container and put the hose into it... BUT... I already had to clean up a mess { okay... really it was my beautiful wife that had to clean up the mess ;-) } of spilled Dawn dish soap everywhere under our sink, which is what inspired me to do and share this, so by drilling the 25/64" hole into the Dawn dish soap cap, even if the dish soap bottle was knocked over, the soap should stay in the container.)

Good Luck!

Happy to answer any questions you might have.
