I opened my Instagram feed and saw a photo a friend of mine posted of a little boy in Aleppo. It moved me and all I knew to do was sit down and write. The overflow of my emotion is this song. I do not know what it is like to live in war torn streets or to fear for my life in this way. But I do know that we are all part of humanity, and I cannot turn my back or blind my eyes to events like these.
