Review: Philips X-tremeVision 1157 P21/5W red LEDs

Review (positive): Philips X-tremeVision red LED bulbs in 1157 or BAY15D format, to replace P21/5W dual mode filament bulbs in tail/brake lights.

These are expensive but are the only LED solution I've found that works properly for this format. They have an advertised 12 year lifetime, give good luminosity (a little better than the filament type), and are super power efficient.

Measured power (low): 0.24 W
Claimed power (high): 2 W
Measured power (high): 1.93 W
