Browning Automatic Rifle in the First World War

Contrary to popular belief, the BAR was used and did see some substantial combat in the First World War, by AEF Forces on the Western Front. In this episode, we talk about the BAR in the war with TFB's friend, Corey, who is outfitted in what an AEF soldier would have resembled during the First World War. Unfortunately, we only had a semi-automatic BAR on hand, but a working BAR is better than no BAR at all.

The BAR appears to have captivated the imaginations of many American shooters, especially during the surge of enthusiasm for Second World War history with the release of such movies as Saving Private Ryan, the Band of Brothers series, or even video games such as Medal of Honor or Call of Duty. This won't be TFB TV's only video on the BAR, as we hope to get our hands on an authentic fully automatic version in the future.
