How to remove linkage arm for power vent (quarter glass) window on 2nd Gen (2004-2010) Toyota Sienna

If the rubber strip on the quarter glass on your Toyota Sienna has come lose it won’t allow the window to close fully and you get wind noise. In order to glue the rubber strip back onto the quarter glass you need to be able to open the rear power vent window further. You can do this by removing the arm on the power vent motor assembly. Looks like it should be easy to do but it’s a little tricky.
