Don Bluth Animates: Disc One
The emphasis in this tutorial is on the value of entertainment. It does not matter whether you are working CG or traditional, the principles of animation and entertainment are the same. Don walks you through the planning stages of a traditionally animated character who is running in place while the background pans behind him. This is a basic lesson in animation that will help you, understand the principles of working your animation on 1's, 2's and also planning camera moves.
