In Defense of the Liberal Arts Education | Mumbi Ngugi | TEDxFAUJupiter

In this talk, Ngugi wishes to defend the ideal of a liberal arts college, setting as an example the liberal arts education of the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University. She believes that an interdisciplinary approach to higher education is important so that the sciences and the humanities can collaborate with each other.

Mumbi Ngugi is a graduating senior at the Honors College of Florida Atlantic University. She is also the 2014-2015 Student Governor for the MacArthur Campus based in Jupiter, Fl.
