What Was The Ancient Way of the Mandalorians Practiced By The Children Of The Watch?

As seen in the Mandalorian TV show, there were vast differences between regular Mandalorians such as Bo-Katan and followers of the way of Mandalore such as Din Djarin. The most notable distinction between regular Mandalorians and the religious cultists that followed the way was a refusal to remove ones helmet in front of other living beings. However, there were other distinctions. Followers of the way did not have to be born on Mandalore or be of Mandalorian ancestry, just as the ancient mandalorians had practiced under Mandalore the Ultimate during the Old Republic era. Followers of the way rejected the pacifism of the Mandalorian government of the clone wars but also rejected the senseless brutality of other groups. They adhered to a strict code of honour, whereby Mandalorians were bound to help other Mandalorians despite any danger they may face.
