'水 Shui' Painting Time-lapse | OOAK Clay Sculpture

Hi guys, I know I've been a little MIA on Youtube lately and I'm so sorry! Thank you all for being so patient with me as always. Besides my upcoming solo show, I've been working on a super exciting secret project for the entire month of July. Although I can't share it with you guys yet, I hope you are excited about this project. It's coming out next year!

This piece is inspired by the Chinese Lion Dance and it's going to be part of my 2020 solo show at Corey Helford Gallery. It's not completely finished at the moment, I still need to seal it with resin and add some gold tassels. But I really want to post this video as soon as possible for you guys. I didn't record the sculpting process for this sculpture because I wasn't sure about the direction I was going when I started. So I decided to put all my focus on the design, cause sometimes filming while working on a piece can be a little distracting. I hope you can understand. Also, I haven't come up with a name for this one yet so I'm calling her "Shui" which means water in Chinese for now.
