Tastytrade SCAM? [2022]

I believe that tastytrade is the best financial network.

Tastytrade doesn't make inaccurate predictions, instead it teaches traders how make consistent money in the stock market by trading options profitably and selling option premium.

I have a lot of respect for Tom Sosnoff and Tony Battista and the tastytrade network.

Tom Sosnoff built thinkorswim and is a lot more successful than I'll ever be.

However, there are things that I don't agree with.

1) Tom Sosnoff has lost track of his positions.

2) tastytrade trades mostly based on implied volatility & liquidity

3) tastytrade recommends selling straddle and strangles

I am not a fan of selling calls in a bull market, as they invariably get tested.

4) tastytrade has featured Tim Sykes on its network MULTIPLE TIMES, therefore giving additional exposure to someone I believe to be very dishonest.

In general, I definitely believe that tastytrade options trading strategies, and their brokerage tastyworks, is substantially better than Kirk Du Plessis from Option Alpha and OptionAlpha.com

My biggest criticism of Tastytrade, Tom Sosnoff and Tony Battista is that I am not a fan of their "trade small trade often" recommendation.

I believe options traders will experience much better returns by being selective in the stocks / options that they trade.

And that being "agnostic" with respect to the underlying (as long as it has high implied volatility and high liquidity) is a very bad options trading strategy.

There are better investing strategies than selling straddles based on high IV.
