Bob Willits, a YouTuber suggested a great idea;
"I had trouble in step one, removing the round spring-loaded pins. I thought of the idea to use the post of an earring. I got one of my wife's earrings and it worked perfectly. Earring posts are the same width as the pins and they are blunt, there is no point. They fit perfectly in the little hole to release the spring loaded pins."
