Western Australia is heading for a 'strong No' in the Voice referendum
Shadow Defence Minister Andrew Hastie says he thinks Western Australia is heading for a “strong No” in the Voice referendum.
Australians will cast their vote at the ballot box for the Voice referendum on October 14, which the polls suggest could be heading for defeat.
The latest Newspoll on the Voice shows support for the proposal has dropped to its lowest level.
“I’m amazed at how many volunteers have reached out – people who have never had anything to do with the Liberal Party before,” Mr Hastie told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“I’m really encouraged that people care about the constitution, they don’t want Australia to be divided, and they’re very suspicious about what Anthony Albanese is trying to achieve here.”
