"Why do I still live?" Warhammer 40K Chant

This quote by the primarch of the Ultramarines had me thinking about the sad state that the Imperium of Man is in. As I pondered on that, I thought of a melancholic melody and the sorrows of a man lamenting his lost species, his suffering people, struggling for survival within the vast universe.

The chant I used is a derivative of "Puer natus est nobis", a medieval gregorian chant performed by CIRMA/ Ensemble Organum lead by Mr Marcel Pérès.
Lyrics (only small parts of the original and changed up a lot to fit the song!!):
Latin:
"Puer natus es nobis
magni consili (angelus)
Gloria Patri et Filio
et Spiritui Sancto
Sicut erat in principio
et nunc et semper
magni consili angelus"

English:
"A child is born to us
The angel of great counsel
Glory to the father the son and the holy spirit
As it was in the beginning,
is now, and will always be
The angel of great counsel"
