Awning Damage Grand Design Solitude (RV Living Full Time) Part 1

As you can see the Tree won. We were on our very first camping trip (practicing RV Living Full Time) with our Grand Design Solitude 310GK, when leaving the campground we forgot to bring in our Awning. As we drove out of the Campground with our Awning fully extended, it smacked the first tree we past, and tore it off the side of the RV. In this part 1 "RV awning vs tree" I explain what happend and why.
In part 2 DIY, I will show how I replaced the broken Awning arms with upgraded arms and rehang my awning like it never happened. Save money and DIY
