RockyMounts BackStage Swing Away Bike Rack on Promaster Camper Van

I've experimented with a bunch of hitch-mounted bike racks on Promaster vans and this is the best so far! It's no fun to install it (especially in the snow) but once you have it put together it's sturdy and has a two-part swing. The "first swing" moves goes away from the doors and the "second swing" moves the bikes away from the doors/van so you can get the rear cargo doors all the way open!

The last few have been a combo of a Yakima "swing adapter" attached to the hitch and then a hitch-mount bike rack attached to that. This worked alright but the RockyMounts BackStage combines both of these functions so it sticks out less and feels quite a bit sturdier. It also gets the bikes further away from the van so the back doors open more.
