How LeBron James UNLOCKS D'Angelo Russell! | NEW Los Angeles Lakers Big 3 After Westbrook Trade!

So it has been announced that the Lakers have traded for D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley, and Jared Vanderbilt in a three team deal that is sending Westbrook to the Jazz where he’s likely going to get bought out along with a Lakers 2027 protected #1-4 pick, and Mike Conley Jr. and second round picks via Utah to the Timberwolves where he’ll be reunited with Rudy Gobert and they’ll go back to having a second round ceiling. I remember back in 2019 that the Lakers were considering bringing Russell back but he eventually was sign and traded to the Warriors. Now, he’s back in L.A. with LeBron and AD, and they’ll form a kind of big three where I think Russell will shine as the third option. So, let’s go over how Russell will fit in his return to L.A., what his role will be, and why I think playing with LeBron James will unlock his game.
