Treatment of Asthma

In this lecture, Zach Murphy, PA-C will conclude our thee part lecture series on Asthma during this lecture where we discuss the treatment of Asthma. We begin by taking a look at a large chart where we categorize a patients severity of asthma as either intermittent, mild, moderate, or severe.We then give examples of the medicines used to treat each type of severity of asthma. We also give a final example on the course of action and treatment needed for a patient who is having an acute asthmatic exacerbation.
