1950s "Day in the Life" of a Vintage Housewife

Hello! I'm Katrina Holte & this is a "Day in the Life" as a vintage housewife! My vintage lifestyle was written about on a number of news sites last fall, and since then many of you have asked to see my "1950s housewife" routine. I adore the 1950s and have worn vintage dresses for ten years now. I sew all my own dresses from my huge collection of vintage patterns. I live like this every single day and have full time for 2 years. I was a "part time" vintage housewife for 3 years before that.

Please keep in mind that this 9-minute video cannot represent an entire 17 hours of waking time, so this does not show everything I do in a day. And if you don't like the 1950s, that's okay! But hate comments will be removed - not everything in the past was bad, and if we studied more history we would see that every decade has good things and bad things about it.

I am passionate about preserving the truths of history and plan to make more videos showing that the women of the 50s were real people who were not so different from us today.
