Kinship: How to Change the World | Conor Beswick | TEDxStJohnsPrep

Conor Beswick describes how a bond developed between two of the most unlikely people through the ordinary and unspectacular. Witnessing this showed Conor just how simple kinship can be, while still having a lasting impact on everyone involved. Conor Beswick is a 17 year old high school junior from Andover, MA. He attends St. John’s Prep in Danvers. Conor’s younger sister Kerry has a rare disorder, SYNGAP-1. He enjoys being active in his school community through service, clubs, and athletics. He has a significant passion for public service and politics and can often be found volunteering for a variety of local campaigns. Conor is looking forward to his senior year of high school and moving on to college. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
