Mysterious Monolith Discovered in Utah Desert

A mysterious monolith has been found in the Utah desert after a pilot spotted it from a helicopter.

The metal structure is between 10 and 12ft high and seems to have been planted firmly into the ground.

The pilot who made the discovery, Bret Hutchings, was flying for the Utah department of public safety and helping wildlife resource officers count sheep in the state.

The monolith and its surroundings resemble a famous scene from Stanley Kubrick’s 1968 film ‘2011: A Spacey Odyssey”.
