I've taken a bit of a hobby of reading about the Northwestern Territories, and gazing on the thousands upon thousands of tiny, magnificently shaped lakes up there. It would be a dream to be able to view these lakes in person someday.

The one in the video here was especially gripping. Such a stark, angular formation, a beautiful natural shape several miles across, with its own islands (the largest of which is over a square mile!), with jagged mountains and streams, it's breathtaking. It is evil how difficult it is to find adequate documentation of Victoria Island. I want to know so much about its wildlife, its magnificent geography, but images are scant. Maybe someday I can take a voyage up there and look at this indescribable scenery in the flesh.
