What A WW2 Booklet Taught Me About Living in Lockdown

hi! here are some fragments (mostly unedited, I only cut out irrelevant parts) of a "How To Keep Well In Wartime" booklet from 1943 (I was using a reprint from the Imperial War Museum). in the video I use the phrase "self-quarantine" because I've seen people use that phrase to describe staying at home, but after some research I found that it's mostly used when describing people that could've been exposed to the virus or are already sick, so "lockdown" is a more appropriate phrase. it was too late to change it in the video as the actor has already recorded the text. also be aware that the outdoor scenes were recorded in my garden! stay home! and finally, please remember that these tips, even though they could be helpful, are all almost 80 years old. please refer to WHO's guidelines for actual up-to-date tips on how to live and behave: https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/advice-for-public
