Lloret de Mar, is a popular town and holiday resort, that is located in the Costa Brava Catalonia region of Spain. It is visited by many tourists throughout the year, who come to enjoy the wonderful climate and beaches along the coastline.

Lloret de Mar Airport:

The resort of Lloret de Mar, is conveniently located approximately just 25 Miles (40 Kilometers), from Girona International Airport. This makes the resort easily accessible and transfers to and from the airport very affordable.

It is 40 kilometres (25 miles) south of Girona and 75 kilometres (47 miles) northeast of Barcelona. With a population of 39,364 in 2009, it is the second largest town in the Selva comarca of Catalonia.

There are several popular beaches in Lloret de Mar and close to the resort, including quieter coves too. A couple of the more well known beaches and coves are:

Another iconic landmark in Lloret de mar, is the hilltop castle ‘Sant Joan’, which is situated between Lloret beach and Fenalsb each and overlooks the town, providing wonderful views of the resort.

Castell d’en Plaja, located on a small hill that offers great views across the Mediterraen Sea.
