WATCH LIVE: Senate votes on confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson to Supreme Court
The Senate is voting Thursday to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court. The vote follows three days of testimony from Jackson and questions from senators in late March. Jackson was nominated by President Joe Biden in February to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer. If confirmed, Jackson will be the first Black woman on the high court. The PBS NewsHour’s Nicole Ellis will speak with NewsHour correspondent John Yang immediately following the vote about what comes next in this process for Judge Jackson.
