Stephen J. Monteith, MD, a neurosurgeon at Swedish Cerebrovascular Center, explains how theaputic use of focused ultrosound has the potential for having a huge impact on many patients' lives. The range in treatment includes patients with Parkinson's Disease, Essential Tremor and Epilepsy.

"For many patients, this is a very attractive option, Dr. Monteith explains. "It's a non-invasive treatment, where we don't have to perform open-brain surgery."
