Which MCU Planets Could Really Exist?

In this video I use my PhD in atmospheric physics, along with the fantastic Dr Hannah Wakeford's PhD in planetary science, to examine the planets of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We review every planet from the MCU and compare them to known exoplanets, as well as the laws of atmospheric and planetary science.

NOTES
(1) The paper is available here: https://arxiv.org/abs/1607.02525. Note however that there is some disagreement about whether the system contains a planet or not: https://arxiv.org/abs/1705.06851/.
(2) See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roche_limit. Note that we've used the solid body approximation for our calculation.
(3) Wakeford and Clark, 2017: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwYS40uAxDE
(4) Note that we've ignored any biological effects here, for example there could in theory be a microbe which ingests methane and excretes oxygen. We've just limited ourselves to discussing the physics and chemisty though - we're doctors jim, not biologists!

This is really a space documentary to be honest, and definitely the most ambitious video I've attempted for this channel! In particular the planets from Guardians of the Galaxy (Vol 2 especially) really stretched our imaginations, though I think the planet which created the biggest discussion was Sakaar from Thor Ragnarok, or possibly Vormir from Avengers Infinity War. Hopefully this video adds a bit more to the discussion than your typical Marvel theory video though!
