Why We Bought A Used RV & Would We Do It Again (RV Full-Time)
When we started shopping for an RV we only wanted a new RV,
This was until Matt from Nomadic Native wrote us and said Keep in my mind,
Bugs have been squashed which means more time on the road and not in a service center.
You did well, good video! Don't let that rental get you down, being able to change your view whenever you want & never having to mow the grass is awesome!! As for used vrs. new, we just traded a used gas RV we bought in 2013 for a new 2017 diesel pusher. Go into a new RV with your eyes open to the fact that no matter who makes it or how much it costs until it shakes, rattles, & roles down the road the "bugs" hide. All new RV's have warranty issues in the first year that the new owners get to work out, and therein is the advantage to buying used, most if not all of the bugs have been squashed for you. That said, we have no regrets buying the new RV. Best of luck to you & hope to see you on the road, safe travels.
So once we narrowed our search down to the Winnebago Vista 27N
We started looking at slightly used RV’s one to two years old and we found this one which was only 6 months old, which to us we considered that to be practically new. Just to be sure this was really a good deal we hired a third party RV inspector (We have a video on that experience and certainly recommend it to anyone buying an RV) the inspection went well and a few problems were found that the dealer took care of before the purchase of the RV.
By buying this slightly used RV we were able to save tens of thousands of dollars and still get all the features we wanted in an RV, but that doesn’t mean that buying used is always the way to go and now we are going to go into the
Pros New
No odors or allergens
Choose exactly what you want which options you want
Warranty included
Latest and greatest features
No one has used your stuff
Those are some of the reasons why you might want to buy new, but we want to hear from you let us know what you bought and why in the comments, these comments can be very helpful to viewers who are trying to choose what is right for them.
We don’t feel there is a right or wrong answer it is just what works best for you.
