U.S Black Hawk helicopter makes emergency landing in Bucharest

A helicopter belonging to the U.S. Army had to make a forced landing in northern Bucharest, in Charles de Gaulle Square, right on the road, where it shot down light poles.

The Chief of Air Force Staff canceled the Events on Aviation Day after the incident involving the forced landing of a U.S. Black Hawk helicopter participating in today's training, sources told Digi24.

President Klaus Iohannis was also due to attend the ceremony on 20 July.

At the same time, the U.S. Embassy also reported that it was working with the Romanian authorities to resolve the situation.
