Massive hog gets loose on Louisiana highway

In Louisiana, authorities had their hands full on Interstate 10 when a massive hog got loose on the roadway. It happened on May 6, 2024, in Baton Rouge.

The effort to wrangle the animal involved not only police and animal control, but also the Louisiana Department of Transportation.

Police had to block off one lane while recovering the swine.

Details weren't available on how the hog got loose, but there was a trailer nearby with a door that appeared to be broken open.
