Jean michel basquiat, born in 1960 in Brooklyn New York, died when he was 28.
Painter, neo-expressionist and in 2017 he set a record for any American artist by having a painting of him auctioned at $110,5 million.
His father is from Haiti and his mother from Puerto Rico, born in Brooklyn.
