Creepy Sleepover With A Possessed Baby Brother

Ashlyn's best friend, Kayla, invited her and their other friend Lilly to come for a sleepover while she babysat her little baby brother Danny.
They all lived in Australia.

For no real good reason the three girls ended up huddled around Kayla's computer watching kids nursery rhymes - weird, she knew, but they were having fun doing it anyway.

One of the rhymes (creepy songs) was about a mother cat and her kittens, and the kittens had done something really naughty, and so the mother cat sang them this little song "Meow, Meow. Meow, Meow. You shall have no pie."

Suddenly Kayla paused the video and told them that her baby brother would often roam the house at 3:00 AM singing that very (creepy) nursery rhyme. Ashlyn and Lilly looked at each other and shivered - totally creepy - and what made it even stranger was that, at least during the day, Kayla's baby brother was actually super adorable and cute, not at all creepy.

So, being in a sleepover kind of mood, and already feeling a bit creeped out and scared about the idea of baby Danny wandering the house like he was possessed, they made up their own scary versions of the nursery rhyme. He was a little boy and that's what little boys do.

Like, what if he's saying "Meow Meow. Meow Meow. I JUST FOUND A KNIFE" or even scarier "Meow Meow. Meow Meow. BE PREPARED TO DIE." It was morbid, of course, but at the time it was fun to scare each other, and to imagine little Baby Danny being possessed and evil and dangerous and murderous. Awkward? YES!

Much later in the sleepover, at around 2:00 in the morning, Kayla had already been asleep for a couple of hours, so Lilly and Ashlyn stayed up talking about ghosts and hauntings and demons and possession and really just scaring the daylights out of each other. Freaking out eachother.

Suddenly, they looked across the hall to the baby's room, and both noticed at the same time that Danny's little baby gate was open. Scared, Lilly volunteered to run over and shut it and lock it, and after she did she ran full speed back to Kayla's room - like she was being chased.

They got back to their creepy stories and it was about ten minutes later that they head two loud sobs coming from across the hall, from baby Danny's room. Then, silence. The girls were totally freaked out.

Suddenly they heard the sound of Danny getting up and slowly walking toward the baby gate. And then, as if that wasn't bad enough, he started laughing - creepy baby laughter at three in the morning, in the dark. That was it, they were officially scared, holding onto each other, trying to stay quiet, no idea what to do when they hear a loud smash! Danny had thrown the baby gate open with such force that it smashed against the wall.

The baby - maybe fully possessed - started to walk out into the hall toward their room. They both dove into action, Ashlyn flopping onto the bed and Lilly scurrying into a sleeping bag, and pretend to be asleep, even though they are watching him, watching him as he walks into the room as if he is in a trance, then plops down next to Lilly on her sleeping bag.

They were so scared, convinced the baby was possessed, and so they tried to keep him up by talking, and finally, when it was way past time to go to sleep, Danny had to choose who he was going to lie down with... OH NO! It was Ashlyn, and while he fell asleep right away and just fine, she lay awake until morning wondering if maybe he really was possessed. hey realized that this paranormal event was officially od of those true scary stories everyone hears about. A true story and a scary story, definitely creepy! This is one of those special Halloween stories. Her creepy little brother was not Frankenstien, Pennywise, Freddy Kruger, Chucky, Michael Meyers, Jason or any other slasher films villain. He was just a little weird that night- now Halloween or Friday the 13th.
