Is a 2016 C7 Corvette Stingray the BEST used sports car for under $40k?

The Chevrolet Corvette has been America's true sports car since 1953. The C7 is the last of the front engine Corvettes. Under the hood is a 6.2L V8 that is pumping out 455HP & mated to a 7-speed gearbox. It's exterior has the classic Corvette lines. On the inside everything is driver focused and the fit and finish was really raised for the C7 generation. Is a 2016 C7 Corvette Stingray the BEST used sports car for under $40k?
