This will reveal the dialectric material, in this case this a foam type substance. With the utility knife cut back about 5mm from the already cut cable revealing the centre conductor.
Step 3. Now grab your plug and unscrew it. Put the cable, specifically your thick braid into the unscrewed plug. Do you still see the set-aside bronze cords? Yup, using the part of your plug, you need to keep them together. Insert the part of that plug into your cable until such time that it keeps your braid in one space.
Step 4. Insert another part of your plug above the cable. It kind of locks it out but there still needs another part of the plug that you need to insert into it. Again, be careful that you do not harm the centre conductor. It’s best to either bend the centre conductor before inserting the plug.
Step 5. Now grab your cutter and cut the extending part of the centre conductor.
Step 6. Insert now the last remaining bit of your plug. Twist it on the cable so that it would fit in right there and there, You can make sure that it doesn’t get moved while the cable is inserted on your TV.
