Shunsui is the laid back captain of the 8th division. He is one of the strongest and oldest shinigami in the series alongside Ukitake, Unohana and Old Man Yamamoto. All of this then leads to my discussion of how Shunsui upholded the ultimate responsibility of leadership during the Thousand Year Blood War Arc.
