Which are the myths and the facts associated with building a successful business? On the stage of the first TedxIonianUniversity, Akis Palamidis reveals to us which is the “habit” of Swedish businesses and their secret to success.

Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx Akis Palamidis is co-founder and CMO of the FoodTech company Gastronaut Catering, which was awarded “FoodTech Company of the Year 2017” in Sweden, and nominated “Trailblazer of the Year 2018" by White Guide side by side the four-Michelin-star chef Mathias Dahlgren and with two other award-winning restaurants.
Akis started his career as a creative copywriter at the advertising agency McCann Erickson in Athens, while pursuing his undergraduate degree in Communication & Advertising at the American College of Greece. He continued his studies in Boston, where he worked and received an M.A. in Integrated Marketing Communication from Emerson College and later an M.Sc. in Finance from the graduate school of ACG in Athens.
He moved to Stockholm, Sweden in 2010 where he worked as a Strategy Director in advertising before co-founding Gastronaut Catering This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
