HP Smart Tank 515 Image printing performance

Hello friends, in this video, I've prepared a review of the photo printing performance of the HP Smart Tank 515 model for both photo papers and standard A4 papers.

During the photo printing process, I used HP's own application instead of printing from the computer. I must say, I'm quite impressed with the many features of HP's application.

You can perform camera scans with the application, and it also has an email address within it. Even when you're away, you can send documents to this email address and directly print them from the printer. I plan to create a separate video about these features.

Now, let's together see the printer's performance by first printing on photo paper and then on A4 paper.

When we operate the printer properly, it draws ink from the ink tanks to the cartridges, prepares itself, and becomes ready for use after connecting to the Wi-Fi network that your phone with the installed application is connected to.

For our first attempt, we'll use HP's original 10 × 15 size photo paper, as I have it on hand.

Of course, you can use other brand papers; the better the quality of the paper you use, the better the result you'll get.

Some of HP's photo papers have a perforated section; make sure not to touch this part when the photo comes out of the printer to avoid damaging the ink.

We place the photo paper in the printer with the glossy side facing forward. Then, we adjust the blue guide bar according to the size of our paper.

After that, the application automatically shows us the paper size based on the settings we made.

Now, let's enter the application and make our first attempt with the original 10 × 15 size paper.

We've completed the printing process, and as you can see, we got a printout of a quality that can easily satisfy a home user.

Now, let's do our test with standard A4 paper.

Let's compare it side by side with the photo we printed on photo paper. As you can see, we get prints that are quite sufficient for non-professional home use.

One of the most important things to remember is not to leave the printer unused for a long time. At least, we should print a few color pages every week to prevent the cartridges from clogging.
