This is the first of two videos addressing the set up of your new Cognisys StackShot automated focusing rail….
…what do you mean, you don’t have a new StackShot!?!? Well, go get one! I’ll wait…

Let me be very clear about one thing - I have no relationship with Cognisys (other than buying one of their rails, ages ago) and the opinions expressed in this and the second part of this video, are all mine. Please do not construe this video, or the next, as containing any official information from the maker. In both of these videos I share with you what I have learned from using this device for many years, and in some cases, my suggestions differ from those of the manufacturer.

In part I of this video I get into the configuration settings that you will want to consider carefully as you get ready to use the rail for the first time. In the second part, I go through each of the 7 program modes that are pre-programmed in the brains of your StackShot.
